When you book and pay for a newborn support consultation, you become a client. As a client, you agree to the following:

  1. Complete the online questionnaire and consent form prior to the consultation.
  2. Agree to pay for the consultation at the time of booking the consultation. Failure to do so may result in the consultation being cancelled by Rebecca Scott-Pillai. Please note the full refund/cancellation policy here: https://rebeccascottpillai.co.uk/refund-and-cancellation-policy/

Limitations to care

In most instances, the advice given is effective.  However, the success depends, in large part, on follow-through with the recommendations made in the plan.

Changes in feeding and infant behaviour may not be not be immediate and may take a few weeks to improve and for issues to resolve.  However, not all issues can be resolved.

If Rebecca Scott-Pillai assesses a client’s concerns and thinks that it may not be possible to meet a client’s goals, she will be clear about what is achievable.

Rebecca Scott-Pillai agrees to provide:

  1. An initial consultation, taking into account maternal history, feeding history, feeding goals and current concerns about the baby.
  2. A verbal plan, which will be discussed and agreed with the client during the consultation.
  3. A written plan within 48 hours.
  4. Four weeks of ongoing support. This may consist of text/Whatsapp messages, emails and/or phone calls.

As an IBCLC, Rebecca Scott-Pillai must adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct for IBCLC’s which can be found here: Code-of-professional-conduct.doc (iblce.org)
