When you book and pay for a breastfeeding consultation, you become a client. As a client, you agree to the following:

Limitations to care

In most instances, the advice given by an IBCLC is effective.  However, the success depends, in large part, on follow-through with the recommendations made in the feeding plan.

Changes in breastfeeding patterns may not be not be immediate and may take a few weeks to improve and for issues to resolve.  However, not all breastfeeding issues can be resolved.

If Rebecca Scott-Pillai assesses a breastfeeding issue and thinks that it may not be possible to meet a client’s goals, she will be clear about what is achievable.

Payment for consultations

Payment for online consultations must be made on the day of the consultation.

Payment for clinic consultations require a deposit. This is itemized in the client’s invoice. The deposit must be paid within 24 hours of booking an appointment, to secure the appointment.

Cancelation of the appointment less than 24 hours prior to the appointment will result in loss of deposit.

All payments are non-refundable once the face to face consultation has occurred.
